Stick with Kik-Start and BMX Sim, you can improve and learn. BMX sim just hang behind the computer and complete the races or pass him when he screws up (same place each time - different as Racer 2). Use the banked turns and smooth out the curves - you can pass under the corner of that building on course 4. Kik-Start slow down for gates walls and bumpy ground, listen to the tones, jump to avoid the start pixels of the wall to slow down in air more - you can jump some small sections of wall etc if you have enough speed. I lilke to think using the wheelie helps me on the big jumps! Topper had that annoying not moving punk a few times, perhaps if he is slow at the start of the level you need to get over there first. jad him block the middle a few times Today's scores (not necessarily improvements!) Preppie 18,790 (7.2) fun challenge score for first 2 levels: 1,800 also had 1,790! (Note on Skateboard: I played on my NTSC machine again and I was right, I did get 48, as there's no trailing zero when running it on an NTSC machine ?. It's otherwise playable as long as you don't mind the background constantly glitching) I didn't realize there was a Preppie! challenge. That's my next task. I did try to go back to Kik-Start but I just find it too frustrating. +therealbountybob Posted July 30, 2022 Author Share Posted July 30, 2022 Skate Crazy the BASIC game from Atari User mag is not bad; like carlsson said calssic Hunchback sytle gameplay but really too hard on the third level with the conveyor belt, might play it again though! You can change the LE=1 on line 5000 to set the starting level ! 2000 With my new found base stealing knowledge played SLB again as Sluggers, was doing terribly and had not scored a run though I did steal a couple of bases then in the 9th innings... got the bases loaded and managed an impressive 4 runs. Good skill required to watch the balll while trying to sneak the bases. Not overly thrilling but it has it's moments! After the 7th you can change your starting pitcher to a knuckle baller. By default it's set to no reliever. The computer always does. I normally will but if I haven't really thrown the fastball I don't bother. Basically the Heat pitcher can only throw so many of those fastballs.
