Revenge of the Beefsteak Tomatoes works on my 2600+.  Took a couple extra cleanings to make it work.

Round 3 of testing.  No special controllers tested like driving, keypad, trackball, or quadtari's since they reportedly don't work yet.

There was one game that wouldn't work on any system, which kind of gutted me, since it was part of my original collection:

Games that worked on original hardware but not the 2600+:

Panic! Rooms

Dare Devil

Robot Tank (Rolling Screen)

Smurfs Save the Day

Omega Race

Pitfall II

Stratovox

Draconian

Mappy

Zoo Keeper

Venture Reloaded (kind of loads, but won't start and emits a high pitched noise)

Deepstone Catacomb

Games that worked on 2600+ after cleaning:

Sneak 'n Peek

Oink!

Picnic

Games that worked:

Oozy the Goo - Slime Quest

Raptor

Day two of testing.  I should have mentioned in the first post that all games are NTSC unless indicated otherwise.

Games that didn't work on the 2600+, but did on original hardware:

Revenge of the Beefsteak Tomatoes

That's weird, Revenge of the Beefsteak Tomatoes works on my 2600+.

Two quick updates:

I indicated that the "End" Homebrew worked on the 2600+, but it actually does not.  I didn't mark it properly in my notes.

After more cleaning and about 20 tries, I finally got the Revenge of the Beefsteak Tomatoes working.  It needed to be pushed all the way to the right for it to be read correctly.

Hi @Ben from Plaion, hoping you saw the conversation earlier in this thread about Tac-Scan not working.  It looks like it's probably an easy fix.

Yes.  I have an issue with Tac-Scan - the start screen pops up but I can't get the game going.  I followed the instructions (putting the paddle on the right side). but no ability to start the game.  Is this what you found, as well?

Does anyone know about compatibility with the Homebrew games on the Atari Age store?

https://atariage.com/store/index.php?l=product_list&c=24

There's a few that looks of interest to me.

The one I think I'd like to get first (if it's 2600+ compatible) is the game 'Dungeon': https://atariage.com/store/index.php?l=product_detail&p=895

If you have some of the other Homebrews and if you've tried them on the 2600+ , I'd be interested to know the ones that were compatible.

Thanks.

Regarding my 2600 homebrews, which are still on the Atariage Shop (mostly PAL or PAL60):

TB series is useless, as no Trakball is supported (yet?)

From the Hacks Berzerk VE works but you maybe better get the official re-release

Asteroids DC and Indy 500 XE Hacks do not make sense, as the Driving Controller is not supported (yet?)

Now to the better Part, as many of my tested homebrew games did work :)

A-VCS-tech Challenge OK

Allia Quest OK

Blinky goes up OK

Bee Ball fails

Conquest of Mars fails :(

Fall Down fails

Go Fish OK

K.O. Cruiser OK

Lead fails  :(

Marble Craze OK  :)

Medival Mayham OK :)

Omicron OK

Panky the Panda OK  :)

Space Instigators fail :(

Space Rocks fail???

This Planet sucks OK  :)

Thrust + fails and Driving controller won't work  :(

I got more working Homebrews like Lady Bug, PAC MAN 4k, Gunfight,... but they are not in the shop anymore.

The ARM carts like Cobra Arcade fail of course but they are not in the shop anymore anyway.

Round 5 of testing.  I think I'll drop the list of carts that need cleaning, it works out to about 10% require it to work.

Games that worked on original hardware but not on the 2600+:

The Music Machine (Sound was bad and wouldn't start)

Megaboy

Bump 'N' Jump

Burgertime

Masters of the Universe - The Power of He Man

Space Jockey (The cart didn't seem to want to go down far enough to connect and sit properly)

Games I'm not sure worked properly on the 2600+:

Cuttle Cart (Menu loaded, but assume it won't load games properly)

Video Life (Appeared to work but not sure how to play it.  Also, it kept running after the cart was pulled out and required a power cycle to reset 2600+)

Magicard (Appeared to work but not sure how to input information)

Sound Paddle (Appeared to work but couldn't figure out how to give inputs, maybe keyboard?)

Games that worked on the 2600+:

Condor Attack

Halloween

Off Your Rocker

MotoRodeo

Fatal Run

Vulture Attack

Malagai

Quadrun

Adventures of Tron

Air Raiders

Armor Ambush

Astroblast

Spacemaster X-7

Speedway II (one of the carts I bought with my system in 1977)

The demo of Ardvark by Champ worked fine for me.

I was using a harmony cart with modded bankswitching though, so that might have something to do with it.

How did you achieve the Harmony working? Obviously in Dev mode but I can't seem to get anything to load properly on my Harmony.
