I was diagnosed with reading difficulty, but...
But it was just eyes. I was diagnosed with bad eyesight to late. Oh..
Worse. I did not have time to take care about my eyes. So...
I am so surprised, that I'm alive.

Living so many years not aware my eyesight is not ok...
Let me joke about myself... I wonder if I'm using echolocation... :D

I have swollen retinas in both eyes, even with all my health problems it was nothing short of a miracle that I was able to accomplish so much in life.  I had three career changes.  It was a long - long  journey

I became deaf at a young age so lip reading was antomatic . In my eary 20's I went to have my hearing tested and when the doctor coverd his mouth I conld not understand anything he said not even one word.

I have excellent hearing in total silence, when the person I am listening to has a good voice no speaking problems... But I'm almost sure that in a noisy places I depend partially on lip reading... I was talking to some person in different circumstances.

- in a noise
- audio Internet call in almost total silence...

In the noisy neighborhood I did not notice several speech disorders that person has.
But when I talked on an internet audio call I noticed that that person has several severe speech disorders...
Severe ones!

You may want to try using a mask around the sunflower to bring out the iner details but on a light backround it will produce lots of horizontal line.   Beeblebrox may have the answer you need.

I mean this:

Another Polish Guy? ArkadiuSZ LubaSZka? Or Hungarian? The "sz" sound is popular in Hungarian and Polish. But I would guess he is Polish, because Poles... They do a lot for Atari...

My nickname is inspired by an Atari 800/400 game Gravity Worms, made by, as far I remember a Polish programmer... So sad he made only few levels. I like logical-puzzle games so much... I hope he will make more levels... It's of two my favorite logic-puzzle computer games and four any genre computer games...

Certainly feel free to run a conversion of this.  That's why I posted the original full size original.  That was my 1st and only attempt at a conversion, I didn't touch the original in any way.  I honestly thought there was no way it would resolve anything, but I thought it looked nice enough to post.  I still never know what will work or not, but I guess that's half the fun!

Could it be the chosen palette?  I notice I use laoo for all of mine since I run a PAL system.

I do not know. I use emulator A800, there is no Altirra for OS on my device...
I have problem with making my Atari 800/400 emulator work on NTSC mode...
I need Atari emulator to check my Rasta images...

What is laoo?

The LAOO palette located in RastaConverter/Palettes/laoo.act. You can tell RastaConverter which palette it should use for color matching with its /pal=Palette File command line option.

I find the default atari800 palette a bit bland. You can also change its palette by setting COLOURS_PAL_EXTERNAL_PALETTE=/absolute/path/to/laoo.act in atari800.cfg.

Here's one for President's Day.

From the 4th Bureau issue... this was released on Lincoln’s birthday, February 12, 1923.

I think I can do a better conversion for this (might try it again some day); but this one came out pretty good.

PAL

RastaSlide 4.2.zipRastaSlide 4.2 - RastaConverter Slide Show Maker and Tools

Changes in version 4.2
- Reduced Colour Mapping Tool mapping failures by checking deeper upcoming changes @MrFish
- Fixed truncated slide name display when using many International characters
- Fixed corruption on RastaConverter pics extracted from pre-version 4 slide shows
- Fixed slide names containing full stops not being recognised
- Fixed ini problems when re-adding very sparse over-optimized extracted pictures
- Added support for Windows shortcuts when adding slides
- RastaConverter pics can now be directly extracted from slide files
- Changed to zopfli 1.03 as some pictures taking abnormally long compressing
- Higher default compression settings in zoplfi.ini file --i900 instead of --i150

I'm getting the following error when I attempt to use the color remap batch file from RastaSlide 4.2.

[Edit]

I should note here, I'm running Windows 7 64-bit.
