For those in the EU, DragonBox just has the 7800 GameDrive & Mega7800 adapter back in stock too:

The screen looks very good. I played around with one at eJagfest.

But still... Using the video out from the cart means that you have to have all games on the SD cart. So for my own gaming I preferred to do the S-video mod and also bought a cheap S-video to hdmi box. In this way I can still use my real carts with a crisp display on a modern TV that only has hdmi inputs.

FINALLY! After get psyched out on the first batch (due to the SAG inventory glitch/overselling batch 1), batch 2 has finally arrived and at long last, I have a 7800GD in hand. I'm beyond stoked, and will definitely be playing this later today, in glorious RGB! 😃

Strange. That looks like Stone Age Gamer packaging and inserts but I've yet to see them ever go back into stock. I know at least one person who got caught up in the over-sale issue when they were first offered and as of a few days ago still hadn't gotten his cart, nor any indication that it had been shipped yet.

I received my Stone Age Gamer bundle today as well.

I still have carts and buy too but let's face it, you can't own it all. I have a similar set up to you and I don't play the carts I have.  The game drive is great for everything I don't have.

You're correct, it's from Stone Age Gamer. :)

As far as the 2nd batch, I don't know how big it is or what the status is, but I believe I only received mine before the general public, due to the whole inventory glitch debacle and SAG wanting to make things right with anyone who already paid for a 7800GD when the 1st batch oversold. Not sure how many folks were in my position either, but hopefully once all those previous unfulfilled orders are taken care of, the rest of the batch will be available to everyone.. I would assume anyway.

Hello, I just received my 7800 GD, what a joy to be able to enjoy RGB when we know that the console's native video output is mediocre.

I was able to launch the official games in NTSC without any problem.

And for Homebrews I noticed that three Bob Decrescenzo games work poorly (jerkers and slow motion), these are the games "Galaxian",

"Armor Attack II" and "Astro Blaster". These three games however work well with the DragonFlash which I also have.

So I wonder if a patch firmware could fix the problem?

Try disabling break, I bet they are perfect then.

Thank you very much, but I can't find this setting 'deactivation of the break' by pressing the Start button on the Genesis pad

And the break button on the console is deactivated, otherwise the game would remain frozen, eh 😉

Edit : Ok I understand, you have to press button B on the Genesis Pad to see 'BREAK ENABLE/DISABLED'

Now the recalcitrant games work perfectly.
         Thanks for the guidance!

So this means that a new firmware is being prepared to receive these warnings?

Afterwards it is just a bit of a shame that it is no longer possible to do 'SAVE STATES' and 'LOAD STATES' when 'BREAK' is deactivated 😞

Yes, for these games you will get a warning with the next release.

Break is required for save / load state. For some games this interferes with the timing of critical code and causes problems, as you have seen.
