Err PIA!! ? Or, the guy is a part reseller presently out of stock for that part an instead of taking it down he jacked the price to a point nobody will click on it until he gets some more stock. This is a thing as I’ve been told by people doing this sort of business.
Keatah
Yes I've had ebayers tell me exactly that. Placeholders for out of stock items. Easier to change the price than recreate the listing.
TGB1718
Just to normalise this thread https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/175113568757?hash=item28c59501f5:g:OLoAAOSw8Jxh5G23 A fair price I think
Mclaneinc
The only strange thing is the remark re the U1MB install, "With new U1MB 1MB upgrade installed and flashed (at my cost)". Well of course it's at your cost, normally that's how it works Other than that, a nice machine package but remember the SIDE3 cart ISN'T part of the deal so maybe a little high.. TGB1718
I was looking to make a cable extender for my joystick ports, saves damaging the actual plug on the Atari, also as I have an STE and swapping mouse for joystick is a pain as they are tucked in under the front of the unit. I saw this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/114769489065?hash=item1ab8cb6ca9:g:BXwAAOSw4Ydged2L As it's in the USA another £10 shipping Edit: I just bought 6 for £13 including shipping Edited February 7, 2022 by TGB1718

However, if you call Bruce at B&C, he may still have some in the box.
GDMike
After a year later I just was issued a refund for this book "DISCOVER FORTH" that never showed from eBay. The seller refunded US $6.45 to you. It may take 3 to 5 business days for the refund to be credited to your original payment method. I also ordered a different Forth book last month and it's also in limbo. They will never use UPS so of course it's lost. How about eBay get a book on discover UPS Ebay Sucks! Beeblebrox
I keep seeing this. Seller doesn't appear to have ever dropped the price, not since I saw it last year anyway. If you are NOT of a certain age to know what Pet Rocks were, Google it. 1

GDMike
But there's a difference between a pet rock and a RARE pet rock. I've actually got a rare pet rock. As a Matter of fact, I'll just let them go for half price this week, just pay a separate fee .. Bhwhhahaha...
