New(ish) 7800 Games and Accessories Giveaway

Recommended Posts

I have a few samples of the new lines to giveaway.

3 x Gamepads

2 x Paddle Packs

2 x Joysticks

Food Fight

Fatal Run

Same as the Christmas giveaway - to win one just post in the thread what 2600 or 7800 game you'd like to see Atari release - re-issue of an old game, port from a different system, perhaps a newly developed game?

I'll pick the winners on May 31st, good luck!

I believe some amazing new hobby release like Wilf would be a really nice puzzle game with a cute main character - a worm. The current demo already works on the 2600+.

The game has a bit of British humour in it. This is a game I would buy myself. More fun than just a platformer or a shmup.

1. I would like to see 1942, the port for 7800 is fantastic.

2. I think one of the greatest assets of 2600+ are paddle games. Breakout and Super Breakout at a bit simplistic.  I would like to see some for 7800. Arkanoid? Krakout?

I've been playing this a lot recently and its just sublime.

I have a email in my drafts for Capcom on this, but I keep avoiding sending it because I cant face the probable rejection.

Some updated Warlords game for 4 players using paddles.

A 4-player game is really great for retro-event competitions. Obvious stuff you need is:

- able to catch a ball by pressing fire. And shoot towards an other player by releasing fire.

- write it for the 7800 to use better graphics.

I'd like to see a port of Gremlins from the 5200 on the 7800.  As for a re-issue of an old game, Pengo for the 2600.  Or perhaps an updated version on the 7800.  For a new game, it would be a vector style graphics space shooter on the 2600/7800.

I would love to see a port of Lunar Lander on 2600 or 7800 Im not fussy.

Lunar Lander would be great.

I have been playing the Flahback 2 ROM and although it has potential it is a bit undercooked. A polished verison would be very nice.
