Write-protect it (again) and it works (again). @SoulBuster You should set Altirra's default disk mounting mode to R/O (Tools->Options...->Media->Default write mode: Read only). 2 1 Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/321959-8-bit-software-a-preservation-effort/page/37/#findComment-5225437 Share on other sites

+SoulBuster
Basic Algebra (1979)(Atari)(US)[cassette] Man I hated doing this one, did not like it in High School either. I was able to answer questions through lesson 13, after that I could no longer do them in my head and only verified what was printed on the screen, and guessed at the answers. Too much work involved to calculate them out. These are as recorded with no edits other than clipping the noise off of each end. I only saw a couple of glitches during review, but they were during transitions and I left them that way. +SoulBuster
Counseling Procedures (1979)(Atari)(US)[cassette] These are as recorded with no edits other than clipping the noise off of each end. Anomalies in this series listed below seem to be manufacturing errors rather that glitches. During the gap between lesson 1 and 2 there is an erroneous stop. The end of lesson 4; the audio is a little off. The end of lesson 5 does not stop when (PTGO) is printed and the lesson just goes to the end. The end of lesson 8 stops prematurely. The beginning of lesson 9, when it spells out Dorsett, the "Do" prints and is cleared and then the real screen starts. The end of lesson 9 stops prematurely. The end of lesson 10 stop prematurely. During the gap between lesson 11 and 12 there is an erroneous stop. The end of lesson 16 stops prematurely. Possible glitches Lesson 11 has a glitch at 6:26. It does not interfere with the lesson. Leaving it alone. During transitions there are a couple of glitches. These seem to be normal and may not be glitches at all, but rather manufacturing defects. Re-recorded it and it is a different disk. Sector 720 is still bad. It would not clear even with -p, but it does not look like anything important is out there. If anyone got it before, get it again.
