Three-R-Math System 20133 (pt 1)

Three-R-Math.Student Disk (1982)(APX)(US)[disk]

I recorded this a couple of times and came up with the same, unalterable errors.  Even the option for -p does not change them.  The disk loads and seems to work correctly. So here we are.

Team-Mate (1985)(Tri Micro)(US)[disk] untested Commodore files included.

Thanks to @Allan for pointing me towards this title!!!!

First let me say, the lay out of this manual is the worst I have ever seen. After figuring how it was organized, it looks like there are pages missing in the file manager section for the Commodore.  I have scanned everything I have and in the order it came to me.

Thanks @DjayBee, It had to be me.  Everything I still had around, including deleted files shows side 1.  Re-recorded it and it is a different disk. Sector 720 is still bad.  It would not clear even with -p, but it does not look like anything important is out there.

If anyone got it before, get it again.

Score Improvement System for the SAT Geometry (1984)(Hayden Software)(US)(OS-B)[disk]

Thanks, this dump is fine - and it matches a dump by Kay Savetz which we received yesterday. SO we went from Zero to Verified within 24h.

:)

And yes, the bad sector 720 is irrelevant.

The unformatted tracks are outside the used area of the disk.

Either the disk originally was not formatted completely or it has bit-rot.

Have a look at the bottom side of the disk, if it has deteriorated.

Did all that already.  Even tried some ipa on a small portion and it had no effect. Must be a manufacturing defect that went unnoticed.

Premature ejectelation sounds like a Freudian Psychology problem, is there some Basic steps to fix this? No likes it when the end comes too soon and it doesn't finish, cutting things off mid stream is bad. Is the cassette player losing drive and allowing the tape to slip or stop? The rubber may be worn, perhaps a fresh set of rubbers?

I know, I know, I'll stop but the point are still valid, yes?

I am frequently cleaning the rubber rollers, because, yes they can cause the recording to be bad.  They get build up on them that needs to be cleaned off.  So, before I put the next tape in, I clean the rollers, then record both sides. Rinse and repeat.

The "cutting off" seems to be fairly consistent in the earlier tapes and goes away on the later tapes.  It seems to happen at the same point on each one. I think those stopping points were put in by the programmer and are not just glitches. After seeing several of these, that is what it "feels" like.

I finally found time to start anlyzing your dumps.

Hayden SAT is done. We did not have many of them before but with your dumps and and the ones Kay Savetz submitted this week, we now have a nearly fully verified set. Only the "Test 2" disk is currently missing but we hope that Kay can dump this side as well.

I am also suprised, how many APX original disks we were missing. Nearly all of your images which I analyzed today where firsts for our archive.

That is fantastic.

There are more APX's that are non-original that need a raw dump or have no dump at all. I have another 14 in the mail that fill that bill.  11 tomorrow and 3 later.
