What did you buy today?.........

My bro says these are the last games I needed that we had when we were kids. I have a bunch of others but these are the newest.

I got Contra on a partial trade, and rad racer was a bonus. Not even sure if we had that as kids or not.

Super C was also on a trade. No manual though. Honestly it's the first NES game with a box at all in my collection. Guess I need to head on that route now.

This came in today.
It's a 2nd revision (Rev B -- 1988) of the Atari 7800 system manual -- had no idea this even existed.  Definitely has the format and style of documentation from Atari's 1988 era.  They really condensed the material into 4 pages (in comparison to the previous manual style).
I thought it was neat and the price was right.

Just bought a D&D megadungeon that usually goes for over $100 @_@

...too bad nobody wants to play D&D anymore =(

I’ve never played an actual game of D&D. If you lived near me I would be happy to play. I know of a small D&D group that meets locally here in Duchesne, UT about once a month and I’ve heard they have a great time.

Yeah, Idunno about D&D with random strangers...

I'm sure I can get some friends together, it's just a matter of scheduling...

I’m not a random stranger. But I think it would be more fun with friends that live nearby. I personally wouldn’t like to Zoom the first time I play D&D.

Some of this was bought (or at least arrived) today...

I'm too lazy to separate ...

So,  between what I bought initially,  added to,  bought from jgkspsx, traded with Tanooki, and ordered from Castlemania, etc.  Here is the Evercade collection!

I figure I'll also put it in the Evercade Thread. ;)

And I got some GameCube Component cables!

Here's what came in over the course of the week.

Desert Falcon 7800 - new and sealed
Atari 2600 Boxed Joysticks - 1979 era box with the cardboard inserts intact

Atari 7800 Bundle -  Great price but very dirty inside and out.  I've documented my cleaning and restoration attempts in the 7800 Serial # thread.  Now it looks almost new inside and works perfectly. Came with Dark Chambers, some Gemini paddles, 2 Pro Line Joysticks (which were sadly totally trashed and in such bad shape, I had to throw them out) and some throwaway 2600 games.

Sometimes the collection dictates the price tag. At least you're done and don't have to keep looking at price tags any more!

Indeed.  And unfortunately,  it'll probably be a while before another pops up for sale.
