Yea... it is funny to read. The only sad thing is these kind of people need help in other ways, and don't know it.

The funny thing is, they try to defend the scam. If they had kept their trap shut they could have got a lot of money out of some poor sap. But by being a dick about it they just call more attention to the scam.

You better watch out or Rosa may try and get a lawsuit against you for slander if you keep calling her a scammer. :)

Phil

I don't think she can do much. She's in Austrailia, AtariAge is hosted in the US, and any judge or lawyer that spends two minutes looking at the situation will know she has no case. Her self-incriminating writing is all over the auction. Rosa's case is laughable at best.

Is that an Atari shirt he's wearing waving the panties in the air? HEHEHEH

Phil

Well, it's open to interpretation, but it looks Greek to me. The Delta is a dead givaway. Frat shirt.

ΔTK

Well they got the first two letters right. I prefer the ΔTX (Delta Tau Chi) frat-house myself. Look it up.

I also did a little Google sleuthing. Here's the original image:

EDIT: Well fart. On closer inspection, the third letter does appear to be X (Chi). :D

What did Backin89 do? I see posts about them being mentioned a lot.

Welcome to Atariage!! That is rule of thumb to the newcomers. You have to learn the legacy of Backin89. Here's some more forums.

First, he lost his car and needed a new one ...

http://atariage.com/forums/topic/170835-selling-off-my-collectibles-notice-to-all/?p=2113658

but then the new one had motor trouble and he needed more money to fix that ...

http://atariage.com/forums/topic/171748-thanks-to-all-those-who-bought-my-items-and-helped-me/

so he figured he could raise money with video game characters crafted out of Perler Beads that his "wife" made ...

http://atariage.com/forums/topic/170857-just-a-quick-thought-game-characters-made-out-of-perler-beads/

but then, about six weeks later, he claimed that she was actually his "fiance" and that she was threatening to go back home without him (that's where this thread comes in) ...

http://atariage.com/forums/topic/173132-a-new-dilemma/

and yet, despite all these troubles, he couldn't quite bring himself to part with his priceless collectibles, like his autographed Terminator 2 laserdisc ...

http://atariage.com/forums/topic/171021-any-interest-in-signed-terminator-2-laserdis-movie/?do=findComment&comment=2117262

so instead, he decided to hit us up for money to buy things for his familylike the infamous Hello Kitty bike for his "daughter", whose existence he was never able to proveand for random friends like this "poor old dude" who lived down the street:

What a guy!

LOLOL this is blatant "listing practices" "search and browse manipulation" "misleading title". Putting Air Raid in title for views is against ebays policies... reported!

When I sold an antique piece of scrimshaw on ebay last year I made sure to put "NOT AIR RAID" in the title to avoid confusion.

"Not Air Raid" - LOL! :lolblue:

The game cart itself looks legit but I'm not solid on the VHS style clam case. But since it's either a third party title or vintage knockoff, there's no telling what the company might have used for cases. Also there is clearly molding inside the case to fit the cart. I'm not aware of any newly manufactured cases made to fit Atari games. They do have "bit-boxes" for NES though, and it would be very easy to print inserts for such a case...

That screen shot certainly does look like Turmoil. Space Grid was supposedly published by Action Hi-Tech. Could very well Turmoil simply published by a different country for a different region.

That VHS box is kind of fishy looking. Here is the scan from Atari Mania

http://www.atarimania.com/game-atari-2600-vcs-space-grid_8168.html

Now if that site has the real box scan, looks like a standard cardboard box to me with that tear in the bottom (did Australia have K-mart back at that time?

Oh my, what's that Rosa up to now? :ponder: :ahoy:

has anybody seen this video? it's Air Raid madness! :-o apologies in advance if this has been posted already.

It was posted in the "Air Raid found" thread somewhere back in 2012. That was an epic find!

Rosa is off her rocker though if she genuinely believes her crap is real though...
