Probably won't be able to interact much via chat, but I did drag out the spare monitor and ladder so I can watch today's show while I'm working this afternoon.

When you told me you were going to bring out a ladder to watch the show I had no idea how that would work, that's awesome, hahah.

@ZeroPage Homebrew Too many credits. I am only watching the project and helping a tiny little bit with Stella.

Sorry about that, I wanted to make sure that I credited people on the project as they were passed to me. 🙂 Please let me know if you really want your name removed as I've posted it in a number of places.

What??? Community built Atari 2600 compatible console with a 100% compatibility goal??? Wow!!

I've got so many questions about this.

A number of questions will be answered on the stream and I'm sure that @Al_Nafuur will start a thread on the project after the reveal tonight on ZPH! 🙂

You can correct my role during the show. :)

Is this a modified version of Stella which reads bytes directly from a cartridge? Or is this also using a cartridge rom-dumper?

...or should I wait for the ZPH stream? 🙂

This device can interact with carts like the PlusCart (tested) and Harmony (<- untested), it's not a rom-dumper.

It'll be much easier to wait for the stream as I'm sure 99% of your questions will be answered on it. Plus it's not much of a reveal if every question is answered before the show, hahah! ;-) Time to prep for the show, see you a few hours!

Yes, the announcement was a bit exaggerated. Hope people will not be disappointed

My enthusiasm for your work might have come through a little strong in the announcement. I think this is extremely important piece of hardware you are working on and I'm very excited for its future capabilities. I hope people saw that I wrote upcoming and didn't take it like it's ready for release through Amazon tomorrow. I'm hoping to bring attention to your incredible work and this will result in something wonderful. 🙂

I will update my posts with a more toned down announcement, sorry about that.

- James

EDIT: I've updated social media posts and post above to town down and clarify wording of announcement.
