Stuck on LUNAR: ETERNAL BLUE for the Sega CD.  Has anyone else tried to fly the Dragon Destiny and it simply won't let you steer it?  I've gotten over 2/3 of the game completed and I need to get to the Red Dragon cave.  I can't finish the game if I can't steer the ship!  I am using a cheat hack so maybe that's it, though I was able to steer it previously.
      1. retrorussell

Update: yep, the cheat hack corrupted things and I was suddenly missing an item I needed to advance in the game.  Got the item (again) and saved after I flew the ship to my next destination.  Hope that doesn't happen again!

Felix the Cat: The Movie AKA Don Oriolo's big embarrassment:
The Brunswick World Tournament of Champions 1997.
Yes, this was the Tournament that spawned the game by Black Pearl and Tiertex:

gotta love how felix defeats the master cylinder, he just throws a book at it.
      2. SlidellMan

The Felix movie has quite a history behind it, and I bet it would be something that The Critical Drinker, Black Scarab FilmZ, Fix the Flick, Decker Shado, or even Michael Barrier would cover.

Best xmas ever,,  1977 when I got an ATARI VCS and mom told me,, "SANTA GOT IT FOR YOU BECAUSE IT'S IN COLOR".. it came with BREAKOUT,,  AIR SEA BATTLE..
I got SUPERMAN when the movie came out and would write a script for a cartoon based on the game,,,  then after i got tired of the official story i would pretend i was doing other scenarios that would be EPISODES..
Figured out RAIDERS and ET myself ,,  PAC-MAN wasn't that bad.. i loved the gaming craze even the poorly designed games..  hate how americans got sick of it..
      1. bent_pin

I was a touch too young to make sense of ET, but it was the first movie that I saw in the theater. I never got tired of games. In fact, I took advantage of the crash and bought up all manner of games for practically nothing.
I came home from a day of yard sales with my mother, dragging an absolutely huge picnic hamper of 2600 games. Kept me gaming for years.
      2. CreeB

I was 12 when ET came out..  Good movie..

    • Sorry, I was out of town for work.      Of course! Here are they:      This one is a little outdated but has a very nice interface, it's pretty organized and even have a "english" button: https://refuge.tokyo/x68k/x68000.html      This one is more up-do-date. But as most japanese sites it is a mess, have a weird '90s design and it is japanese only. But it's the most complete by a mile: http://tkhr000.s601.xrea.com/x68softlist/x68soft.htm
    • This company has been making greedy decisions with knowing they have no product ready to come out since at least 2020. You expect them to change now?   You would be better off trying Astrosmash on Steam. https://store.steampowered.com/app/2430580/Astrosmash/    You can buy it and if you hate it return/get it refunded if you've played under a certain time limit. The app does nothing special, and is actually a more difficult and convoluted setup than releasing games directly into Google Play.
    • More news to me.  I was familiar with Polymega as a higher priced emulation solution for real carts and ripping like PS2 discs, but didn't know they were going to make an Atari cart module.  Hrm.  Reading about it seems a little complicated - you add the box for the disc drive ($150), then add the module for Atari ($80) and plug that into your VCS to play physical media with original controllers.  As a solution for present owners of Polymega it is a great add.  For those who already own VCS, it gets you there.  If I'm correct about that, it sounds kind of not so elegant and expensive to consider if you have none of those to begin with.  IMO it begs to have the guts of a VCS emulation computer put back inside the Polymega to give you the whole package including the modern capabilities and controllers in one box.  Maybe that could be an evolution of whatever is happening there though.   BTW, if Atari ever does offer a modern form of physical media I'm highly in favor of SD-card like media a-la Nintendo Switch as opposed to optical media.  Optical discs have limited shelf life and the readers also tend to have troubles as they get really old.  I have a stack of old VCS carts that work fine after 40 years.
    • no, they are freely available on the interwebz
    • I still can not get in to Buildroot, I have tried a few passwords, at the moment I am tried to bypassing it by changing its boot command and get it to mount its ramdisk, then you do not need a password, it keeps kernel panicking at the moment, this way takes time. I have tried user: root, and pass: no password so just press enter so it has a password, that didn't work, I tried: 2600+, 2600, Atari2600+, Plaion, PLAION, Atari. As I always say `If you don't ask, you don't get`...
